Chess Tournament - 7th Saxonburg Open - Youth & Adults

Note to Library Patrons: During the chess tournament, the front door will be locked. Chess players and library visitors must use the rear entrance. Children's room and Express Window available. Front room not accessible to library visitors during the tournament. Staff at the rear desk can help you with getting materials.

Tournament Details:
Open to USCF rated youth and adults. Players participate in 4 rounds of chess over the board with a lunch break to enjoy the eateries in Saxonburg. Chess players compete in 3 sections: Scholastic only section and 2 mixed sections (adult and youth). Scholastic prizes are ribbons and trophies. Premier and Championship receive cash prizes.
