J Leman is a former Consensus All-American Linebacker at the University of Illinois. He led the Illini to a berth in the 2008 Rose Bowl. Leman excelled in the classroom as well achieving Academic All-American status and being one of the only athletes in school history to reach All-American status Athletically and Academically in the same year.
After Graduation, Leman went on to spend 4 years in the NFL with 5 different teams including the Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders.
After his NFL career, Leman launched into multiple careers. He excelled at sales and reached the top level of his organization, joined Big Ten Network as an expert analyst announcing College Football Games, and started investing in real estate.
J is currently a licensed real estate broker and an active real estate investor focusing on Multi-Family Apartments near the University of Illinois and the University of Iowa. With experience in Wholesaling, Flipping, Single Family Homes, Short Term Rentals, Storage, Small, Medium, and Large Multi-Family properties, Mobile Home Parks and Farm Land, J is well versed in many different aspects of real estate. He has amassed ownership interest in 350 units across Illinois and Iowa.
He resides in Central Illinois with his wife Katy, and their three kids, Colt, Anna and Genevieve
