Postcards from the Movies: Rear Window

Hit the streets of the Big Apple with one of the master of suspense's most brilliant works: a witty wonder of nerve-shredding thrills and a technical tour de force. Confined to his West Village apartment with little to do except make goo-goo eyes at Grace Kelly (some guys have all the luck), Jimmy Stewart plays a wheelchair-bound photographer who keeps busy in the sweltering summer heat by observing the private dramas of his neighbors, only to become convinced that one of them has committed murder. With razor-sharp direction and radiant performances, Hitchcock turns voyeurism into high art in this gripping tale of suspicion, obsession, and the secrets we keep behind closed doors.

Tickets for the film, part of the Postcards from the Movies series, are FREE for SCAD Card holders; $5 for students, seniors, and military; and $8 for the general public.
