As recently announced, public access to the Soo Locks grounds will be restricted this Engineers Day. Visitors will only be allowed in Canal Park and the observation platform — no access will be permitted inside or around the locks themselves.

We know how frustrating this is for so many who look forward to this tradition. That’s why we’re stepping up to help our community!

To support our community and keep the spirit of Engineers Day alive, we’ve made tickets easy and affordable for everyone:

Adults: $26
Children (ages 5–17): $8
(Kids under 5 ride FREE!)
🛳️ Join us for a narrated boat tour through the Soo Locks — A great way to experience them up close this year. It’s a fun front-row seat to Great Lakes history in motion.

🎟️ Get your tickets easily online at or pick them up at our ticket booth the day of the event!
