2025 Centra Sota Sauk Centre Corn Silage Dry Down Day

Dairyland Laboratories, Inc. will have a NIR machine available at the Sauk Centre Country Store to evaluate the dry matter of corn silage samples and assist in predicting a harvest window for your corn silage. Vita Plus, Purina, and Centra Sota staff will be on-hand to discuss corn silage variety selection tools, kernel processing considerations, and more!
Sample Instructions:
Select 4-6 stalks that best represent the field while avoiding the edges. Cut the stalk at intended chopping height. Bring up your samples labeled or call to have your samples picked up.
*We set this dry down day based on maturing. However, please communicate with your nutritionist as you monitor your stalks
