Lynnette & Bows’ Bio:
From Webster, New York, Lynette is a regular at the Saratoga Race Course. She received her sock monkey Bows from her Grandmother Mary in 1973. Fifty years later, Bows is still with her. Lynnette says: “Bows the sock monkey, is a symbol of how we should all follow our passion and dreams and enjoy life. If a simple sock monkey can spread joy, brings smiles, conquer gloom, raise your spirits, be caring and compassionate- so can you!”
Synopsis:
Buttons and Bows Visit Saratoga is a touching story about a mischievous sock monkey who becomes a Jockey at Saratoga. Bows thinks Sarah Toga is a person, not a place. He meets a horse named "Willywillwin" who becomes his partner in this adventure. They become good friends as Willy leads him into becoming a jockey at Saratoga. This adventurous tale is an inspiration for every child, encouraging them to try their best at everything they do. You just never know where it may lead, maybe even the winner’s circle. Bows is a hand- made fifty-year-old Sock Monkey who accompanies Lynette wherever she goes. This tale will spread joy, bring smiles, and raise the spirits of all those who read it.
