Join us for the first ever “Jam For Joey”, a day of celebration as we honor the life of the late Joey Boyle; a friend, brother, son, skateboarder and mentor amongst the community. This year also marks the 10 Yr. Anniversary of our Skatepark, I had the pleasure of meeting Joey in the early days of the park, he was kind and enthusiastic, always welcoming any newcomers with a helping hand. The type of personality that keeps new generations coming in, making new friends, and sharing the mutual love of something like skateboarding with one another. We hope to continue his legacy through events like these, keeping Joeys’ energy alive in the park and community for years to come…

In-person sign ups begin at 12pm the day of the events
This is a Jam style contest, divided into three different skill levels, Beginner(-12), Intermediate(+12) & Advanced Open Class.
Each division will have the opportunity to win prizes such as cash, boards, skate merch and other gifts, in exchange for putting down their best tricks.
Top prizes to include award medals made locally by @weldirondacks
*Helmets are required for any and all skaters participating in this event
*Skaters must complete and sign waiver before their selected heat begins
We are also raising funds for:
-Park Maintenance/Upgrades
-The Joey Boyle Memorial Scholorship Fund

So come on out for a fun-filled day at the park, bring your board or just your eyes, we will have music and food throughout the event and plenty of room for spectators!
