APIDA Graduating Students Celebration

We will be celebrating our graduating Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) students as they complete their studies at SMC and continue onto amazing careers and academic journeys.

Graduating Student Celebrations are distinct from the college’s Commencement Ceremony, where your degrees are conferred.

This event is brought to you by Student Equity Center, the Division of Equity, Pathways, & Inclusion, APIDA, and Racial Justice Center.

This celebration is open to all 2025 SMC graduating, transfer, and certificate completing students. Although the event celebrates APIDA, participation is not limited by area of study, ethnic background, national origin, sex or gender identity. SMC aims to create an inclusive space that celebrates our intersectional identities while cultivating a sense of unity.
