Our fun kicks off on Friday evening, August 8th, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Rancho Nipomo on the outdoor patio, where we're going to enjoy a no host cocktail event and say hello to the friends we've known for over 50 years!
Rancho Nipomo has a full bar and lots of food on their menu. But they close at 9:00 p.m. so be sure to get there early!
The address is 108 Cuyama, Nipomo, which is at the 166/Bakersfield exit, then go west, and there it is!
SO... the fun continues on Saturday morning, August 9th at 10:00 a.m. for a personal guided tour of Santa Maria High School.
Monica, the assistant to Santa Maria High School's current Principal, has kindly offered to walk us through the halls of the memories we made... and by the new memories being made by some of our grandchildren today.
This may be the only chance we will ever have to privately view the rebuilt halls and classrooms of our alma mater.
We'll also take in the old halls and buildings where many of us met and will always have cherished memories from some 50 years ago.
Come wearing your Santa Maria High School 50th reunion t-shirt (more on how to order your T-shirt will follow...but T-shirts are not mandatory) at 10:00 on the steps of the Ethel Pope auditorium to begin this tour.
Then even more fun at this MAIN EVENT on Saturday evening, August 9th starting at 5:00 where we will enjoy a no host cocktail starter event at the Elks Lodge, 1309 N Bradley Rd.
See if you can recognize your classmates without peeking at their name tags!
Dinner begins at 7:00 and you will enjoy a top sirloin steak with a boneless chicken dinner combo. With, of course, all the famous Elks beans, bread and salad you can eat. And some ice cream for dessert!
AND the FUN continues at the Elks after dinner where our DJ will be playing all of our songs from the '70's and will involve YOU with interactive entertainment with your classmates!
The cost of the dinner is $120 per couple, or $65 per person if you register BEFORE June 1st, and $140 per couple, and $80 per person AFTER June 1st.
I will be posting the actual invitations and registration forms in the next couple of days. Where you'll be able to see that due to our past experiences we're only accepting cash, VENMO or Money Orders for payment.
I have a feeling this Class Reunion is going to be the best Class Reunion we've ever had!
