Are you ready for Saltgrass Cowboy Church 2025 VBS? We are excited and ready to gitty-up to THE WILD WEST and ROUND-EM-UP-FOR-JESUS!
Our Bible Verse for our VBS Theme is Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," Jesus has entrusted us His followers, to make disciples of all nations, and that includes children. The week of VBS is equipped to minister to children within our church and community the love of Jesus Christ, teaching them to foster Christ centered friendships and grow their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. VBS is a fun and great opportunity to introduce, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ—in a way that they can relate to.
LEARNING AND FUN
Every Buckaroo will experience learning about Jesus through fun Bible lessons, teachers teach with excitement, fun and creativity, worshipping and praising through motion Christian country songs for kids, craft, and fun games. During this incredible week, Jesus becomes more than a character in a Bible story for the kids!
They will be blessed with the opportunity to see how real the Bible truly is and how God’s Love and Word applies to them. The best part of VBS is when a child gets excited and asks Jesus to be their Lord and Savior. Seeing their beautiful faces light up with Joy as they raise their little hands and boldly stand up, proclaim the name of Jesus is an incredible reward for us all! It's amazing!
BIBLE LESSONS
Each group will have a teacher and a helper. The bible lessons are taught according to group age, with enthusiasm and purpose. Kids learn through fun, hands-on and interaction. Every lesson will have a bible verse that is applied during lesson time, Worship and Praise, and craft time. All Children are encouraged to participate in discussions and ask questions.
GAMES
Games will be played both indoors and outdoors (always keeping them cool and hydrated).
CRAFTS
All crafts are based on their daily Bible lesson, reinforcing the lesson they have learned. Including the daily Bible verse.
WORSHIP AND PRAISE
Motion worship and praise Christian western songs for kids. Learning those motions and dance steps will be lots of fun! Reinforcement of lesson and Daily Bible Verse takes place in the timeframe of Worship and Praise.
LUNCHES
Delicious lunches will be prepared by our Chuckwagon Team; (menu will be posted on our website). NO PEANUTS or any peanut-based product will be served in any the meals, nor in the preparation of meals.
WATERDAY FUN! LAST DAY OF VBS (FRIDAY)
We will have several water slides. Your child will be gifted with a draw-string backpack bag on Thursday with their name. Please use it for their personal belongings; towel and change of clothing. Label items with your child's name.
