The Worm Lab Kids Workshop

Welcome to The Worm Lab! In this fun and squirmy hands-on workshop, kids will learn all about vermiculture—the science of composting with worms! Young scientists will explore how red wigglers help break down food scraps into rich, garden-friendly compost. Each child will build a mini worm bin, touch the worms, feed their worms, and learn how to care for them at home.

We’ll talk about what worms eat, why they’re important for healthy soil, and how even small composting can help the planet. It’s science, sustainability, and a little bit of mess—all rolled into one awesome workshop!
