About this Event

Learn Skills for Batch Cooking and Take Some Home!
Have you wanted to start creating making large batches of food to see your family through several days or a week? In this workshop, you will join with others to make multiple "Planned Over" dishes, items that work really well for batch prep. You will take home some of each dish to enjoy with your family over several meals.

Good for You, Good for the Earth, and Good for all Lifekind.
The dishes we make in class will all be healthy plant-based organic goodness. Using exclusively plants represents the gold standard for human health, and is also the optimal diet for sustaining the habitability of the Earth and the lives of other beings with whom we share the planet. And they will taste fabulous!

Here's the Menu:
• Easy Baked Green Curry Tofu and Veggies
• Peppery French Lentil Leek Soup
• Festive Fruity Wild Rice Salad
• Indian Spiced Beet and Coconut Salad
• Love House Salad
• Balsamic Veggiegrette
• Lemon Dill Tahini Dressing

All Dishes are Whole Food Plant-Based, and Free of Added Salt, Oil, and Sugar.

In This Class, You Will:
  • Enjoy a tasting party upon your arrival.
  • Learn how to make health-promoting, yummy dishes,
  • Learn tips and tricks from a master chef,
  • Learn techniques for culinary creativity, ingredient substitutions, and making food taste scrumptious without reliance on added salt, sugar, or oils,
  • Receive recipes for the dishes made in class,
  • Find out about the healing power of whole plant foods,
  • Create a bountiful, comforting feast with your classmates,
  • Enjoy a delicious, healthy meal together in community,
  • Have a chance to get your questions answered,
  • Receive an opportunity to connect with a batch prep buddy for sustaining the practice long after class,
  • Take home 2–4 servings of each dish we make in class, and
  • Have fun!

Class Size Limited to 12 People!

Ingredient Reimbursement Required, and Donations Appreciated.
Similar classes can cost $200 or more. Eat for the Earth is committed to providing education for people of all income levels. For this class, since you will be taking home multiple meals, we are requiring payment to cover the cost of ingredients, which is estimated to be around $60/person. If costs end up being higher, we will collect the difference in class.

If you have the capacity to give, please generously add an additional donation so we can keep offering these classes to people regardless of income.
