Losing the ones we love from this world doesn’t have to drown us in grief and despair. When those we love leave this world, they are still here with us, alive and well in our hearts and memories. We keep them alive through telling their stories. Join Serafina Nicole Lúz in this sacred celebratory ceremony amongst community to honor those who have left this world yet will never leave our hearts. Let us let the wisdom of our collective grief transmute itself into unconditional love. It will look something like this:
Education on the tradition and history of Día de los Muertos
Welcome prayer
Guided meditation for intention and embodiment
Ofrenda creation and storytelling
Collective sharing and storytelling
Closing meditation and prayer
Celebration time with community
We will supply:
Crafting supplies
Marigolds
A sacred momento to bring home and place on your altar
Drinks and homemade treats by Flower Child Foods
What you will bring:
Photos of whomever you wish to honor in this ceremony that you don't mind glueing or taping onto something.
Any additional special items that you would like to create with, share or hold close during the process.
Beloved memories of the departed to share (should you choose, not required
How to Dress:
You will have the option to sit on your mat, or in a chair. Please dress comfortably but in a way that feels honoring to the experience. Have fun with it. Face painting or celebratory personal decoration is welcomed!!
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Serafina is the Founder of the Rising Wolf Collective — a collective of exploration dedicated to empowerment alchemy through: personal coaching, dream therapy, business and marketing consulting, dream yoga and meditation education.
As a professionally certified Dreamworker, Yoga Instructor and Meditation Instructor as well as a Writer and Educator, Serafina is passionate about empowering her students and clients to find a home within themselves by reconnecting to their bodies and reclaiming their soul. She finds her power through prayer and nature, and so, she brings ritual into all aspects of her being and her work.
Serafina has been a branding and marketing specialist for over 20 years, which has lended itself to becoming a soul-based Business and Marketing Consultant. She works with all kinds of humans, from large-scale corporations to individuals who are seeking a deeper connection to how they choose to build their expression in this world. All of this work is also deeply embedded with dreamwork practices.
Her mission is to continue to help herself and others become empowered, sovereign and loving human beings that embody their experience on this Earth with joy and authenticity. To help us all befriend the dark so we can step fully into our light.
