Weekly Kizomba and Brazilian Zouk Courses

Come and learn to dance Kizomba and Brazilian Zouk Monday evenings at Leslie Sack Dance Studio in Santa Barbara.

Zouk class will be from 7-8pm, Kizomba from 8:15-9:15pm,
followed practice and social dancing until 10pm. You will learn elements of all styles of Kizomba and Brazilian Zouk while dancing to an eclectic mix of music. These will be open level courses -- all dancers are welcome!

Costs: To join for the whole evening (i.e. Zouk, Kizomba, and practice) costs $15 for drop-ins, or buy a five class pass for $50. Students receive a discount ($10 for drop-ins or five class pass for $30). Pay in cash or Venmo @jhennawi.

A Note on Shoes: We have the privilege of dancing in a luxurious 1200 sq. ft. studio with a beautiful hardwood sprung dance floor made possible by generous support from Leslie Sack Dance Studio. As you will quickly notice, this floor is *much* easier on your body and prevents (shin, knee, back) pain and injury. Please help us take care of the floor by paying attention to the following: 1) Don't dance in street shoes. You don't necessarily need specialized dance shoes -- even a separate pair of sneakers would suffice. The aim is to avoid bringing rocks, dirt, water, and grime from the street onto the studio floor. 2) If the soles of your shoes are noticeably scuffing up the floor (rare but happens occasionally) you might get asked to dance in your socks! Please test your shoes (by rubbing the sole on the floor) out first at home.
