Join us at the beautiful Rancho San Fernando Rey for a wonderful horse camping and riding experience! All level of riders are welcome to participate, from casual riders looking to explore the breathtaking beauty of the private and exclusive trails that only the few get to see, or the multi-day marathoners of the endurance world, legging up for the Tevis Cup in July.
Hosted by by ride manager John Parke, and co-hosted by me, his grumpy sidekick Sarah, this ride will cover an expansive amount of the historic ranch, with plenty of water, plants and wildlife to view along the way.
The Ride on Saturday and Sunday will have an introductory ride with a map and waypoints for the rider to follow at their leisure. Each day will also have respectively an LD and a 50 mile ride.

***IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE*** Please thoroughly read, fill out, sign, include checks, and send off your paperwork to the address provided in the forms before the date provided by John. You will not be considered "entered" in the ride without the correct forms in John's hands by the ride cutoff date.
Some Extra Notes:
- We would love for you to camp with us! Please plan on showing up to camp by no earlier than FRIDAY June 20. And before you do that, look around you. Make sure that every human stowaway you're toting along has a waiver already in the hands of John Parke. If not, BRING WAIVERS ALONG ALREADY SIGNED. DON'T BE THAT GUY.
- Please keep the entirety of our camp, and also California safe by refraining from smoking or having campfires whilst spending time at Rancho San Fernando Rey. Failure to do so will result in expulsion from the campsite and I will be personally writing a letter to your mother. But in all seriousness, just don't. NO OPEN FLAMES.
- The ranch is a pristine cattle operation that we are lucky enough to utilize, we are welcome here because we are polite and courteous. We may spread our manure and hay upon our departure but please pick up all trash and other evidence of your campsite. Likewise, a polite and courteous attitude is always appreciated.
- DO NOT CONTACT THE RANCH FOR ANY REASON. They can't answer your questions and they're very busy. Please reach out to myself or John with any queries.
Some other other things:
- Yes, this ride is held at the same venue as Sesenta años, but the trails won't be the entirely the same, and it shall be a bit greener.
- Pack your own meals, but we will be having a birthday dinner Saturday night, celebrating John! Please check fliers if you would like to sign up!
- we hope you enjoy this springtime ride, we're certainly looking forward to it!
