3rd Quarterly Meeting of 2025

The Seminole County Historical Society will be having its 2nd Quarterly Meeting on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 7pm. It will be held in the IFAS Auditorium located at 250 Count Home Road, Sanford FL 32771.

Please join us for an exciting talk by local author Scott Deitche. He will be making a presentation about his newest book on a famous mob boss!

Scott M. Deitche is an author specializing in organized crime and the Mafia. Deitche has written numerous books and over 50 articles on organized crime for local and national magazines and newspapers. He has been featured on History Channel, A&E, Discovery Channel, AHC, C-Span, and Oxygen Network. In addition, he has also appeared on dozens of local and national news shows, as well as over 40 radio programs. He is a member of the Mob Museum's advisory council and has extensive knowledge of the history of Organized Crime in Central Florida and the State of Florida itself!
