Join us on Saturday, 30 August at 2pm for the opening of Becoming — a group exhibition that celebrates transformation, creativity, and connection.

This laid-back afternoon at Artyli Gallery is all about conversation and cocktails, where art comes alive through dialogue. Meet the artists, enjoy an open-mic style exchange, and hear personal stories about their journeys and creative processes. Some of our exhibiting artists will be speaking about their work, offering an intimate glimpse into their practices.

Featuring an exciting lineup of contemporary African artists — Kenyaa Mzee, Given Muronga, Mario Soares, Raja Oshi, Hussein Salim, Patrick Seruwu, Samantha Maseko, Sibusiso Ngwazi, Steve Maphoso, Ludumo Maqabuka, Tshep Phokojoe, and Lynette van Tonder — Becoming invites you to experience art not only as an exhibition, but as a shared moment of creativity and connection.
