His passion and knowledge led him to launch one of the UK's first mail-order catalogues dedicated to antique weapons—well before the internet era—offering collectors a trusted and personal service that continued for decades, selling to buyers all over the world.
By 2012, Andrew transitioned his business online, establishing AndrewBottomley.com as one of Britain’s largest and most respected online retailers of antique arms. His collection was curated with the care of a historian and the eye of a true connoisseur.
