Did you know that 2025 marks 20 years of “The Promise”?! We are so proud of this milestone and everything the ensemble has accomplished over the years, and we believe this is an anniversary to celebrate!
This event is an opportunity for all Promise members (from 2005 to present) to socialize, worship, record and perform together!
We invite any Promise alumni and current members to join us on the first weekend of November (1st + 2nd) to our Promise reunion, happening at Avondale University!

November 1:
9:15 Sabbath call time in music hall
9:30 Rehearsal (item 'Total Praise' OR 'Irish Blessing')
10:15 Church soundcheck
11:00 Church service (performance)
Lunch at 7@Avondale (cafeteria)
Sabbath afternoon will be a combination of short rehearsals/sound checks with the jazz ensemble and time to socialize!
6pm Dinner at 7@Avondale
7:30 Concert + Recording project (see below for details)
Celebratory drinks after concerts conclusion
... Our idea for a recording project is to capture the magnitude and talent of all our past members, creating a Promise choir! This music video would be a "live recording" of either 'Irish Blessing' or 'Total Praise', filmed at the Saturday evening concert!
November 2:
Social brunch at 7@Avondale for anyone who remains after the day event, or for those who have more catching up to do!!
