ABOUT
The Bindu point is the doorway to the Infinite. Like a pearl or seed, it is where creation arises and into which it folds again. It is said in yoga that all spiritual practices are support structures and preparation for higher practices and spiritual revelations.

Piercing the Bindu happens in conjunction with the guru or jnana chakra, the centre of Diksha or initiation, opening conduits to the inner teacher or guru within. It is also a Universal process used to access internal transmissions of wisdom and experience from lineages of light.

“Bindu is beyond the senses and thoughts: … The journey to the Bindu becomes the experience of the source of light (Jyotir Bindu) and the source of sound (Nada Bindu), as well as being the source out of which other sensation, mental processes, and the instruments of mentation emerge.”

Swami Jnaneshvara Bharati Piercing the Pearl of Non-Dual Wisdom

Poornima means Full moon and the Full moon in July marks an ancient celebration of the mystical relationship with one’s spiritual advisor, or Guru. This time honoured tradition lifts us into fields of grace. In Guru Poornima we thank our lucky stars and have gratitude for the vast love and waves of Divine energy that flow in blissful abundance, the beneficial influence of the light of Guru that causes our own soul’s inner radiance to shine.
