Junior Deputy Academy EAST

The Hays County Sheriff's Office is taking applications for the 2025 Summer Junior Deputy Academy EAST.

There will be two separate academies, one on the west side of Hays County and one on the east side of the county. The academies will run Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Buda (East): July 15 through July 17 – Connection Church 1235 S Loop4, STE 400, Buda, TX 78610

APPLICATION DEADLINE: JULY 8, 2025

East camp application is open and is intended to serve residents of Buda, Kyle, Maxwell, Niederwald, San Marcos, and Uhland.

Program is open to boys and girls ages 9-12 years old. There is No Charge for the camp.

Priority will be given to children who have not previously attended a Junior Deputy Academy. The children will interact with local first responders and Sheriff’s Office employees who will introduce them to various components of emergency services. Sheriff Anthony Hipolito may meet with the children as well.
