We’re having our midsummer mini hat tourney in lieu of league Tuesday Aug 16!
This is a great opportunity for some of our younger or newer players to get some higher level experience and folks that are not playing summer league are welcome. Bring a friend - it will be FREE!
Here are the deets:
It is OPEN and FREE to anyone! Anyone not already registered and waivered can do so online. Select “hat tourney only”:

Format will be round robin with multiple short games
4-6 teams, depending on attendance
Bring a WHITE and DARK shirt. No gray or light pink or light blue!
Registration is at 5:30 with first pull at 6:30 SHARP. Please arrive early since we have to draft teams! If you plan to attend but cannot get there on time, LMK
Games will likely go until ~9pm, it's ok if you have to leave early
When you arrive, there will be 3 hats. You will put your name in the hat that best corresponds to your self-ranked skill/experience level:
BEGINNER (less than 2 years experience, not confident with all throws, no formal training, higher rate of turnovers, possibly injured or lower athleticism)
INTERMEDIATE (3-5 years experience, potentially some club or college training, decent grasp of offensive and defensive strategy, confident backhand/forehand, moderate athleticism)
EXPERIENCED (>5 years, club or college training/tournament play or extensive pickup, confident throws including into wind, strong grasp of offense and defensive strategy, high athleticism)
Woodstocks afterwards!
