Soft Solder Jewelry with Lily Marylander

Workshop Description

Turn any piece of broken glass or pottery into your favorite piece of jewelry! Lily Marylander will guide you through giving a wearable edge to the little treasures we keep in a box on our dressers. Participants are more than welcome to bring their own treasures or old jewelry, but there will also be materials available. We will be using soldering irons so please keep that in mind as you register!

Please note we have a sliding scale for tickets for this event! The break down is as follows:

About the Artist

Originally from Oakland, California, Lily Marylander is a BFA candidate at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She is double majoring in Sculpture and Jewelry Metal Arts with a minor in Ecological Practices.

Her work aims to spark conversation, exploring themes of the body, mixed identity, and her transition into adulthood.

When not locked in her studio, she enjoys cooking, dancing, and road trips. She currently lives in the Mission District of San Francisco surrounded by the vibrant energy of her three housemates, a cat, and the dynamic Bay Area artist community.
