Can you believe it's been 10 years since the MAJOR! documentary was released?
We're celebrating by having a 10 year anniversary screening at the Roxie Theater on June 8th in San Francisco with Queer Cultural Center as our partner for the National Queer Arts Festival!
Join us for a 10th Anniversary screening of MAJOR!, the award-winning documentary about the life and campaigns of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a formerly incarcerated Black transgender elder and activist who has been fighting for the rights of trans women of color for over 50 years.

All proceeds will go to the Miss Major Alexander L. Lee TGIJP Black Cultural Center (TGIJP) and folks from TGIJP will be there to talk about the org at the end of the screening.
This screening is in partnership with the Queer Cultural Center and a part of the 2025 National Queer Arts Festival.

MASKS: For the safety of our community members, KN-95 or N-95 masks will be required during this event with the exception of eating and drinking. We will have masks for folks who don't have one, but please bring one if you have one!
ASL will be provided for introductions and post-show conversation.
