Los Tangueros del Oeste at Noontime Concerts

Los Tangueros del Oeste perform an exciting concert on June 10th at lunchtime - downtown San Francisco/Chinatown. The concert is free with a donation requested.

Los Tangueros is steeped in the Nuevo Tango styles of Astor Piazzolla Gotan Project and Bajo Fondo. Focusing on founder/bassist Jacobsen’s original compositions which are inspired by classic Tango forms the group combines beats and textures from Hip-Hop and Electronica with Flamenco influences filtered through an improvisational lens.

A perfect respite for the city’s downtown workers visitors students shoppers and music lovers in general Noontime Concerts offers free concerts featuring national and internationally known musicians. Celebrating its 36th year Noontime Concerts is recognized as a valued local institution that continues to fulfill its mission to enrich the community and cultural life of the Bay Area.
