Herbal Medicine Making Circle in White Crane Springs Garden with Calendula

This experiential and hands-on gathering is for those who’d like to learn more about the wisdom, plant and healing properties of working with herbs, flowers, trees and wild medicinal plants in-person in a community garden.

We’ll come together in one of San Francisco’s lovely community gardens, and work with Calendula to make medicinal salve and healing teas. You’ll leave this class feeling inspired, even more connected to the natural world and the healing properties of our “green allies.” In this session you'll get to take home an herbal remedy that we made together.

Note : This class will be outdoors at the White Crane Springs community garden in the Inner Sunset, so please make sure to dress accordingly with warm and cool layers as we know the weather can shift easily in the Bay Area.

This class is open to those who are curious, and want to deepen in their awareness of working with the medicine of the “green realm” in a very hands-on and experiential way.

8/10 at 2pm - 3:30pm : Calendula

9/14 at 2pm - 3:30pm : Sage, Oregano + Thyme

10/12 at 2pm - 3:30pm : Rosemary

NOTE : Herbalism doesn’t have to be put in the place of either or - working with plants can support anything else you are doing to support your system and overall health. All of our ancestors at some point had a deep connection to the land, to the herbs and plants or green realm, to the animals and waters in order to survive. This connection to our roots and deeper belonging was severed, and it is time to reclaim the wisdom we all long for again.

Crystal Marie Higgins is a lineaged Initiated High Priestess in Celtic traditions, an Initiated Witch, as well as a Yoga Teacher, a Folk Herbalist and an Ethical Marketer. She has been in devotion to earth wisdom, the cycles of the moon and the seasons since 2012. She loves to create, to cook and share that magic with others!
