Get ready for our fourth art show of 2025 on May 24th @ 7pm!

We, @hotelbironwinebar are honored and excited to have local artist Christopher Coker @my.inner.child.sf debut his solo exhibit "Interstate" at our wine bar.

There will be a raffle @9:30pm which includes a round of chambongs, wine, art from the artist, etc. All money from our raffle will go to our artist!

We will have sourdough chocolate chips cookies from the @themonycollective to give away with every purchase!

ARTIST BIO

Christopher Coker, a San Francisco-based artist, uses oil paint to translate human emotions onto canvas, drawing inspiration from the world around him and his personal experiences. His works are deeply allegorical, exploring emotional symmetry and the interplay between reality and the abstraction of our subconscious. Coker believes in tapping into frequencies beyond his own, connecting with something greater and inexplicable. His 20-year career as a professional chef fostered an unwavering work ethic as an artist but paved a toxic road that led to his darkest moment. After quitting the only job he'd ever known, he soon found himself spiraling into depression and turned to substances, obliterating the coping skills needed to heal unresolved childhood trauma. It was within that darkness that he re discovered the creativity once had as a boy. This newfound expression not only became a means to cope but became his beacon of light.

After a brush with death he found himself embracing self-improvement; he transitioned to private cheffing, traveling to remote locations and finding solace and inspiration within nature's beauty. Through his introspection, he began writing poetry, drawing, then eventually painting, rediscovering his inner voice- the voice of his inner child. This voice, once silent, now guided him toward his true purpose: becoming a visual artist. In 2023, he moved to San Francisco, honoring his childhood dream.
