Northeast San Fernando Valley Immigration Resource Event

“Know Your Rights” Presentation: This workshop (in Spanish and English, with interpreters for other languages as needed) will teach community members about their legal rights regardless of immigration status. This will cover what to do in various situations – e.g. if immigration agents (ICE) approach you at home or work.

Rapid Response and Safety Planning: Attendees will learn how to develop a family emergency plan in case a member is detained. This includes preparations like assigning a trusted contact, organizing important documents, and knowing whom to call for help.

Legal Consultation Clinic: We have partnered with legal service providers to offer free one-on-one consultations on-site.

Local Resources for Immigrant Communities in the Northeast San Fernando Valley: Attendees will leave with a clear roadmap of where to get help.

Throughout the event, translations, refreshments and childcare will be provided.
