Warm weather - let’s get you winning with tips. Discover creative ways to help your plants in gardens, patios, balconies, and tiny yards their best chance with hot weather -whether they’re in containers, vertical setups, and microgreens. Even the smallest spaces can benefit from heat prevention with the right approach.


🚜 Since 1972, we've focused on simple growing methods, time-tested advice, and locally-grown plants.
☀️ We'd love to invite you down to our open-air canyon classroom for a fun morning of casual learning.
🧴 During warmer months, hats, sunscreen, water recommended.
🦆 Free to attend, no RSVP required.
🚙 We kindly ask that if you take advantage of a free class, and if mobility allows, that you consider finding street parking on Altadena Ave and walk over, keeping our parking lot open. You can pop by our "Loading Zone" afterwards for easy parking-free loading!
