Tejano Conjunto Festival - Archiving & Documenting Our Cultura

New this year, the Tejano Conjunto Festival will be hosting a Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m. event, “Archiving & Documenting Our Cultura” in celebration of the Tejano Conjunto Festival. This will be a free event inviting the public to visit an exhibition featuring the collection and photography of local community archivists and artists, memorabilia by Archivist Ramon Hernandez and photographs of lived conjunto music culture by photographer Lupito Acuna and our TCF Coordinator and photojournalist Mariaelena Villarreal. A panel discussion with the artists will be followed by a reception. Live music will be provided by Aaron Salinas and Joey Guerrero.
