SATX Social Ride - Riding with HEB Cycling Team!

This Tuesday, we have special guests on our social ride, the HEB Cycling team! Let's welcome them to their slowest (and most enjoyable) training ride ever.

We will start and end the ride at Make Ready Market on Avenue B and Brooklyn Avenue.

It will likely be hot, so stay hydrated.

Social Rides are about respecting fellow cyclists, other vehicles, and the road. We are also respectful to businesses and the environment. Ride predictably and safely.

9+ mile route, mostly flat, medium pace (10-13 mph), multiple regrouping stops.

It is spring break, so traffic will be heavier downtown. Please exercise caution when riding or driving.

****LIGHTS****

Remember WE STOP AT RED Lights. We do not block traffic, we ride AS TRAFFIC. Stay in ONE LANE whenever possible. CALL OUT OBSTACLES for your fellow riders.

Listen to your Ride Marshals, they are looking out for OUR own good! Ride with proper bike etiquette. Don't cut anyone off, be aware, and call out vehicles. You know traffic rules, and they apply to bicycles.
Bikes, Bike lights, Helmets, and a POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
Meetup starting at 6:30 and roll out at 7:00 pm
