Art in the Park: Watercolor Insects

Meet outside the Urban Ecology Center. Once gathered, the group will go on a short nature walk to gain some inspiration and hopefully see and photograph some insects.

Then we'll return to the UEC to make some nature inspired artwork. We'll try our hand at drawing insects with pencil and pens and watercolors using dried specimen and photos. Weather permitting we'll walk for the first 30-45 minutes.

Encounter the Savannah Restoration and Wildscape Demonstration Garden and learn a little bit about these unique features here at Phil Hardberger Park.

Bring a light folding chair, comfortable shoes, and water to stay hydrated.
