2025 San Antonio Ride of Silence

On Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, cyclists worldwide will join in a silent, slow-paced ride in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways.

The ride, which is held during National Bike Month, aims to raise the awareness of motorists, law enforcement and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways. The ride is also a chance to show respect for and honor the lives of those who have been killed or injured. Many of us wear the names of cyclists killed or severely injured by a vehicle on our clothing.

ActivateSA will provide a press release on Monday and a guest speaker for the event.

The Ride of Silence is a free ride that asks its cyclists to ride no faster than 12 mph, wear helmets, follow the rules of the road and remain silent during the ride. Please wear white clothing in memory of those who have been injured or killed. This year's route is approximately 10 miles in length.

7:00 pm Roll out
Following the ride, we welcome you to stay and visit with one another.

Helmets are strongly suggested.
