SJFD Women's+ Boot Camp

The San José Fire Department invites you to a FREE half-day boot camp led by our exceptional female staff. Prepare to conquer challenges, unleash your strength, and create lasting memories in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The San José Women's+ Bootcamp is open to ALL (16+), including our non-binary, gender non-conforming, and trans women community members. We embrace diversity and welcome everyone to participate in this empowering experience.

The event will include:

• Circuit training
• SJFD female firefighters sharing their personal experiences in the fire service
• Q&A session with the women of SJFD
• Demos featuring firefighting tools and equipment

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Registration is open to those 16 years or older. Space is limited to 100 participants. Once all spots are filled, you will have the option to be placed on a waitlist and notified if space becomes available. This event has filled up quickly in the past, so don’t delay in registering if you’re interested in participating.

Registration opens on April 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

REQUIRED FORMS: On the day of the event, all participants must complete a 'Waiver of Liability' and a 'Photo/Video Release' form to participate. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian complete both forms on their behalf.

REFRESHMENTS: Water and snacks will be provided.

ATTIRE: Participants should wear comfortable athletic apparel and proper shoes.
