Friday Night Freak Show - "Hedwig and the Angry Inch"

On June 20th WMSE brings you another Friday night Freak Show. Strap in, glam up, and get ready to rock your heart out — Hedwig and the Angry Inch is crashing into town and it’s got more glitter, heartbreak, and high-voltage energy than your ex’s band that never quite made it!

Follow Hedwig, a genderqueer East German rock singer with a botched operation and a band of misfits, as she tears down the fourth wall—and possibly your emotional defenses—in a fierce, funny, and deeply moving quest for love, identity, and the perfect power ballad.

Join us at The Oriental Theatre, the fun starts at 6:30 p.m. with a DJ set by Dennis Clarke of the Thursday "Found All The Parts" program, followed by the film screening at 7:30 p.m. The Friday Night Freak Show is sponsored by MKE Film and 3 Sheeps Brewing. Get your tickets before Hedwig takes the stage and leaves nothing but glitter and feelings in her wake.
