Scrappy Cooking: Workshop and Cooking Demo

Get creative in the kitchen to reduce food waste! Join I Love A Clean San Diego and the City of San Diego on Saturday, May 10 at 10:30 a.m. for the free Scrappy Cooking Workshop & Cooking Demo at the Kitchens For Good learning space.

The 1.5 hour workshop will include:

• A zero waste cooking demo from Kitchens For Good’s head chef

• How to properly dispose of food waste through the curbside organic waste recycling program

• Different ways to compost at home

• Why it’s so important to reduce our food waste and divert organic waste from the landfill

Participants will be entered to win prizes including gift baskets full of zero waste tools for the home and kitchen (2 winners), and a $20 Visa gift card!
