About the event

Clothing from the Mid 19th Century (Again) -- FREE
Ever wondered what is under those huge 1860’s dresses, or wanted to see original garments? This presentation by Colleen L. Pappas of Herstory Handcrafts will present a display from her collection of nearly 100 original pieces of clothing and accessories - from underpinnings to outerwear, from day wear to night wear, and from shoes to bonnets. She will discuss the influences on fashion in the first half of the 1860’s and how it changed during the Civil War.

This event was very popular when we did it in May. We ran out of seats. Please pre-register to grantee you have a seat. Use this link to register, https://forms.gle/boBWczhurgSUPS5T8. You should get an automatic response upon registration. Please check your junk mail.
