The California Rodeo Salinas established its Hall of Fame in 2010 as part of the celebration of its 100th anniversary. As one of the top 20 professional rodeos in the United States and the largest in California, the Rodeo has a rich legacy built by dedicated individuals who have contributed to its growth and success over the years.
From the tireless efforts of volunteers serving on more than 60 committees, to the talents of contestants, performers, personnel, and staff, the Hall of Fame was created to honor those whose commitment and contributions have shaped the Rodeo into the iconic event it is today.
Hall of Fame inductions are held every other year, with applications accepted annually. Honorees are nominated across several categories including:
Committee Members
Performers/Personnel
Staff
Livestock
Contestants
Notables
Supporters/Contributors
This tradition ensures that the legacy of excellence and community spirit behind the California Rodeo Salinas continues to be recognized and celebrated for generations to come.
