HDR is the culmination (thus far) of their signature sound, a fountain of open-hearted, folk-rock, steeped in vocal harmony and group synergy. Led by Anderson's smooth-as-honey vocals and DeHaven's rugged guitar chops, the band has been described as "open-road, long drive music", having "a little bit of twang, and a whole lot of beef”, and their live show as "infectious and contagious". The band is rounded out by veteran knockouts Blake Stepan (bass), Mike Lang (keys), and Orion Tate Ignelzi (drums). Their second full-length LP, "All Out of Angels", out this fall, was produced by Ben Wysocki (the Fray) and Mark Anderson and features a duet with Nathaniel Rateliff. Fullerton & Friel is the roots blues duo of A.J. Fullerton and Jake Friel. Blending raw energy & deep grooves, the two create a dynamic, high-energy experience rooted in traditional blues while pushing the boundaries of modern roots music.

A.J. Fullerton, a nationally acclaimed blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter, has built a reputation for his intricate fingerpicking, soulful vocals, and genre-bending approach to American roots music. His sound draws from Delta blues, folk, and rock influences, making him a standout voice in contemporary blues.

Jake Friel, a harmonica firebrand with a deep connection to the blues, brings an infectious stage presence and commanding vocals to the mix. His playing is both fiery and melodic, channeling the spirit of blues legends while carving out his own unmistakable style.
