Nesteled amongst the highest concentration of 14'ers in North America is the majestic Arkansas River and the luxurious Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. Come float the river, enjoy a sunset hot spring pool party, and dance till dawn, welcome to the River Trip.

THIS TICKET IS FOR ADDMISSION TO THE MT. PRINCETON POOL PARTY & THE DRFIT INN DANCE PARTY.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE SHUTTLE BUS OR ENTER THE HOT SPRING OR ATTEND THE DANCE PARTY WITHOUT HAVING A WRISTBAND.

YOU WILL BE CHECKED IN WHEN BOARDING THE SHUTTLE BUS FROM INDEPENDENT WHITEWATER TO MT. PRINCETON.
IF YOU ARE ARRIVING ON YOUR OWN TO MT. PRINCETON YOU WILL BE CHECKED IN AT THE POOL.
ALL LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE CHECKED IN AT INDEPENDENT WHITEWATER STARTING AT MIDNIGHT.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING YOUR OWN LODGING OR CAMPING IN SALIDA. PLEASE REVIEW ALL OF THE INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASING A TICKET.

RIVER TRIP ( 3 HOURS LONG)
Due to low water levels we made the deccision to float from Hecla Junction to Independent Whitewater. This means you can bring your own watercraft (tube, paddle board, unicorn, etc.) Keep in mind the sturdier the better. ///// EVERYONE NEEDS A PFD (Life Jacket) in order to float the Arkansas River///// They are available to rent from Independent Whitewater if you don't already have your own.
Independet Whitewater will have Duckies avaialble to rent ($60 for singles, $90 for doubles, includes PFDs, guaranteed good time). Plan to be on the river for a minimum of 3 HOURS. Please have a plan, bring what you need, and be prepared.
Personal saftey and comfort is your responsibility! Think water, food, sun protection, etc.
SHUTTLE
You are responsible for organizing your own shuttle to Hecla Junction from where you are staying. It's a 20min drive from both MT. PRINCETON HOT SPRINGS or INDEPENDENT WHITEWATER to HECLA JUNCTION. We strongly encourge you to group together, make freinds and car pool up to HECLA JUNCTION.
We are leaving at 11:30AM for HECLA JUNCTION from INDEPENDENT WHITEWATER. There will be plenty of time after the float to get any vehicles left at Hecla Junction and return before the shuttle busess leave for Mt. Princeton Hot Springs.
WATERCRAFTS
We will have a truck and gear trailer with limited space going from Independet Whitewater to Hecla Junction that can help take floatation devices to the put in. Devices, including any rentals must be deflated for space and transporation. We will have muliple pumps avilable at the put in to inflate all standard river watercfraft (duckies, paddle boards, raft).
If you bring an unusual or flimsy device (think pool toy), you are on your own. Even tho there is low water it is still the Arkansas River. Plan accordingly.

TRANSPORTATION & MOVEMENT (PLEASE READ)
PLEASE NOTE THE POOL PARTY AND DANCE PARTY ARE IN TWO SEPERATE LOCATIONS. WE WILL BE PROVIDING FREE SHUTTLE BUSSES BETWEEN INDEPENDENT WHITEWATER AND MT. PRINCETON HOT SPRINGS.

AFTER HOURS THERE WILL BE A LIMITED PRIVATE SHUTTLE SERVICE (YOU PAY) FOR PEOPLE NEEDING TRANSPORTATION FROM INDEPENDENT WHITEWATER TO LOCATIONS IN THE AREA.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OTHER TRANSPORTATION TO EVENTS AND VENUES, THINK SUNDAY BRUINCH & DINNER.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON CAMPING AT INDPENDENT WHITEWATER / THE DRIFT INN (LATE NIGHT PARTY LOCATION), YOU MUST SECURE YOUR SPOT THROUGH THEM DIRECTLY - PLEASE CALL OR VISIT THEIR WEBSITE, THE TICKET FEE DOES NOT COVER CAMPING.

THERE ARE TWO CAMP AREAS, SPACE IS VERY LIMITED IN THE MAIN AREA WHERE THE LATE NIGHT PARTY WILL BE HELD. PLAN TO ARRIVE BEFORE 10AM ON SATURDAY TO SECURE YOUR CAMPING SPOT. ONCE THE MAIN CAMP AREA IS FULL, PEOPLE WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE OVERFLOW AREA LOCATED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HIGHEWAY AWAY FROM THE MAIN AREA. IF CAMPING CLOSE TO THE ACTION IS IMPORTANT TO YOU PLAN ON ARRIVING NO LATER THAN FRIDAY EVENING.

IF YOU SHOW UP LATER IN THE DAY ON SATURDAY YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO FIND LODGING OFF SITE AWAY FROM THE PARTY ( MOST ALTERNATIVES ARE 10-20MIN AWAY (ALT CAMPING, AIRBNB, HOTELS, MOTELS, ETC.).
