Event Location: Current River, route-- Sat: Ceder Grove to Akers Ferry & CAMP; Sun: paddle to Pulltite (map). We will do primitive camping, on the river (not a campsite), without access to potable water nor restrooms.
Missouri’s Current River is a favorite for paddlers, boasting crystal-clear waters, stunning bluffs, and a rich variety of wildlife. Flowing through the heart of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, this river offers an incredible paddling experience for both beginners and experienced folks.
Fill this application to join Team River Runner (TRR) St. Louis for this recreational paddling event. Meet Sat at 9:00 am; likely finish by Sun 4:00 pm. Please bring all your own food & gear, with a way to keep it waterproof. Everyone welcome— veterans, “+1” civilian family/friends, & volunteers. Wewant people to come for the whole event. Class I river, with a couple Class II spotsPaddlers need the ability to have boat control to avoid obstructions and have the stamina to paddle 10 miles per day.
