What is SL22B?
SL22B is the official celebration of Second Life’s 22nd anniversary, hosted by Linden Lab. It’s one of the largest and most anticipated events of the year, bringing together immersive experiences, live sessions with the Lindens, exclusive promotions, artistic exhibitions, and the vibrant presence of the entire SL community.
Get ready for a full month of festivities, nostalgia, fantasy, and new discoveries — all free and open to all residents.

What can you expect from the event?
1. Themed Regions: SLB East & SLB West
These official regions will open on June 20, featuring builds and interactive installations inspired by myths, legends, and fantasy. A visual and immersive journey through time and imagination.
2. “Meet the Lindens” Featuring Philip Rosedale
Live sessions with key figures from Linden Lab — including the creator of Second Life himself. Residents can submit questions via notecard until June 20 to be answered during the streamed sessions.
3. Shop & Hop
The opening round of Shop & Hop took place from June 6 to 9, offering a minimum of 20% discounts and dozens of exclusive gifts. The regions remain open throughout the event for anyone who wants to explore, discover new creators, and refresh their inventory.
4. Volunteer Opportunities
You can still apply to join the volunteer team — assisting visitors, supporting organization, and participating in behind-the-scenes logistics.
