Return to Bigbury

This walk is 10 mile moderate with swimming and being led by Chris.

We start from the National Trust Car Park at Ayrmer Cove and head inland for the first few miles through the village of Kingston, until we reach the River Erme near Wonwell Beach. From there we walk back along the SWCP to Bigbury and onto Burgh Island for the usual drinks at the Pilchard Inn before heading back to the start. This is a shorter walk than the ones I would normally choose to lead to allow us time to swim and enjoy the coastline and Burgh Island. Having said that, there are a couple quite steep hills on the Coast Path.

Options for further swims, paddle boarding and beach picnic after the walk.

We need good weather for this so if it's looking wet nearer the day, I might postpone it for another time.
