Hand Building Pottery Workshop

Join us for a relaxing and creative pottery experience at CMA Studio.

Immerse yourself in the calming process of working with clay as you create your own hand crafted pottery pieces. From shaping and smoothing to adding decorative details, I'll guide you step by step to design a piece that reflects your unique style. These workshops are designed to help you slow down, connect with your creativity and form a relationship with clay.

Explore the fundamentals of hand-building ceramics through practical techniques and creative decoration methods:

- Pinching techniques
- Coiling techniques
- Soft slab construction
- Surface decoration basics to personalize your pieces


Workshop Details:

- Duration: 2 hours
- Focus: Beginner handbuilding techniques
- Experience: No prior pottery experience needed!
- Project: Each guest will create 2 small, personalized items (e.g., cup, bowl, or decorative piece)
- Finishing: All pieces will be clear glazed and kiln-fired, making them food and dishwasher safe
- Included: All tools, clay, instruction, and firing costs
