On Monday 18th August we will be holding a Man Club session at the Vale Rec clubhouse. We start at 7pm.
(We also have a group which meets at Trinity Square in town fortnightly on Wednesdays. If it's difficult for you to get out to the Vale Rec at L'Islet then please consider coming along to the group at Trinity.)
Man Club is a group of men who gather to hear one another speak honestly and openly about their lives. They treat each other with respect, and they agree to keep the discussions confidential.
Men don't have to speak, it's OK just come and listen. Just hearing other men talk openly can be helpful. You'll learn that you're not alone. For those who do choose to speak, the experience can be extremely positive - like a huge weight being lifted.
We have the space until 10pm, but anyone is free to leave when they want. We typically get 5-10 people attending, (with one or two 'first timers' at each session), so there should be plenty of time to talk if you want to.
If you're thinking of attending then please find the time to come along - even if it's just to see what it's like. You will be safe and you will be made welcome. The clubhouse is reserved for our sole use for the evening. It's a private space, and there's parking right outside.
