Psychedelic Policy Summit

We will be gathering together to discuss two new bills introduced into the Minnesota Legislature that aim to both decriminalize (HF2699) and create a therapeutic access program (HF2906) for psilocybin-containing mushrooms.

We will have speakers from the recently convened Minnesota Psychedelic Medicine Task Force, legislators including Representative Andy Smith, local psychedelic researcher Dr. Jessica Nielson, and local community organizers working to build community and safe access around psychedelics like psilocybin mushrooms.

The event will include educational content around the science and legal status of psychedelic medicines, the findings from the 200-page report from the Minnesota Psychedelic Medicine Task Force, the details of the two bills introduced into the legislature to expand access to psilocybin mushrooms, and how you as a citizen in Minnesota can help to advocate for these bills and connect with your legislators to help champion these bills.

Our overarching goal is to help educate the public and lawmakers about psychedelic medicines with an eye towards a successful legislative session in 2026 when these two bills will be discussed and consideref for approval in the state of Minnesota.
