House of Awesome Party!
Theme: Taco Party (ingredient sign-up will be in the comments)
Start/End time: 2pm to midnight or later? (depending on desire and the energy...if you are coming over late, feel free to text/FB Messenger/Call one of us to see how it’s going if concerned about the time)

Parking:
- Along Hudson Road: There is a full staircase in the front of the house, go along the path around to the back and enter through back gate, or along Frank St: go up slight hill in alley and enter through back gates of either house
- Limited Mobility: we have a couple parking spots behind the houses that can be used for people with limited mobility needs, please contact us in advance so we can
Bus Access:
We are less than a block from the Earl Street stop on the new Gold Line! From the Earl Street stop head east about 500 feet, we are the houses with the terraced gardens in front.

Who is Welcome:
- All ages and all walks of life - come as who you are, you are safe here …we are a queer household after all
- Anyone who hears about the party, even if you don’t know any of the hosts…introduce yourself and let us know where you heard of us.
- Anyone looking for a relaxed event atmosphere with no pressure to socialize (you can escape inside or next door where it’s quieter) or consume anything they don’t want. We do have alcohol if you are ok being around it, there’s no assumptions made here or questions asked if you do not wish to partake.
Please bring:
- A dish to share (if able, but not required…we want to see you and enjoy the day with you first and foremost!) this doesn’t have to be anything huge, something small is fine, but bring something you love to eat, love to cook, or just are in the mood for. People are more passionate about what they like/love. Be creative! Chips and such are welcome too but if you can, bring something you wouldn’t normally just grab and go. Kitchen is available for last min prep or warming of food stuffs.
- A note with a list of ingredients for your dish. Food allergies are not something to play with. We have placards for dishes to let people know what’s what.
- Something to throw on the grill (if you wish). We have a combo grill/smoker and we (Erica) typically will be smoking a meat for the party. If you are vegan/vegetarian let us know now and we can cook in the kitchen (sorry we don’t have a dedicated grill)
- Something to keep you warm if it gets chilly (watch the weather)
- Burnables (if you want) to feed the fire
- wood to add to the stack
- sensitive documents that you don’t want in the standard recycling (but please, not all your paper recycling)
- pictures of that toxic ex that you need to get rid of (if you want a little ritual burn-off to send it away, let us know)
- PLEASE do not bring things that will produce toxic smoke
- A camping chair if you have a favorite one – typically we have plenty of seating though.
