Join us for the launch of a new amateur storytelling forum by and for women. HERD provides a safe and empowering space for women to share their stories—there will be no judging or winners. We draw inspiration from other storytelling platforms like NPR's The Moth, but with a women-centered, joy-forward focus. You can simply be part of the audience and support the storytellers, or you can throw your name into the hat to be one of the eight featured "Yaks."
Interested in sharing your story? If so, please keep it under 5 minutes and make sure it's true as you remember it and personal.
The theme for this event is HAIRY! From bad bangs to bold choices, this night is all about the hairy stuff—literally and metaphorically. Join us for a women-centered evening of stories that are wild, messy, awkward, and true.
Food and drink available for purchase from Urban Growler! Doors open at 6pm- come early to mingle and eat/drink!
