🌿 Clear the Trail Day – Hosted by Pony Express Trail Runners 🌿

📍 Corby South Trailhead, Saint Joseph, MO
Hey trail family! I’m taking the day off work to give back to the trails—and I’d love your help!
Join us for Clear the Trail Day, our first official trail cleanup event, hosted by Pony Express Trail Runners. We’re starting at 8:00 AM at Corby South, and if time allows, we’ll shift over to Corby North too!
🪵 We’ll be:
✅ Chainsawing and clearing downed limbs
✅ Picking up and stacking logs off the trail
✅ Trimming low-hanging branches
✅ W**d-eating and clearing both sides of the trail
🧰 Have gear? Bring it! Chainsaws, W**d-eaters, trimmers, leaf blowers, gloves, safety glasses, rakes—whatever you’ve got will help.
☀️ IMPORTANT REMINDERS – Safety First!
Please come prepared with:
🔹 Long sleeves and pants (to avoid poison ivy and scratches)
🔹 Sunscreen and bug spray
🔹 Safety glasses and gloves
🔹 Hearing protection if using loud equipment
🔹 Closed-toe shoes or boots
🔹 Plenty of water – I’ll have a big orange Igloo cooler full of ice water, but bring your own bottle to refill and take breaks at the tent as needed!
⛺️ I’ll also bring a canopy tent, table, and a few chairs.
⚠️Pack a lunch or snacks and a chair if you have one.
⏰ Can’t make it at 8AM? No problem—come later and jump in where you can! I plan on being there all day!

As a nonprofit, we can log your hours and offer certificates of service.
👦 Minors are welcome but must have a signed parental consent form—message me to get it in advance.
