St. Charles Market Pumpkin Pie Contest

Join the fun! Enter your pumpkin pie for a chance to win a St. Charles Market tote full of goodies...and bragging rights, of course!

HOW TO ENTER

Participants are encouraged to pre-register pies using the online entry form found here. Entries received by October 17 will receive a discounted entry fee of $5.00. Day of entry fee will go up to $10. We ask that each participant bring two (2) pies: one to be used for judging and the other will be sold after the contest and proceeds will benefit Oasis Food Pantry.

Participants should bring their pies to the City of St. Charles tent between 7:30 and 10 AM on October 18th.

CONTEST RULES:

· Pies must be dropped off at the Market by 10 AM on Saturday, October 18th.

· A full list of ingredients is required (no measurements necessary).

· All pies must be made from scratch. No store-bought crusts or fillings.

· One entry per household.

· Amateur bakers only.

· Entry fees are nonrefundable.

· Rule violations may cause for your pie to be deemed ineligible for participation in the contest, at the sole discretion of St. Charles Market staff.

MORE INFORMATION:

· Pies will be judged on texture, taste, and appearance.

· We will award first, second and third place.

· The judges’ scores will not be distributed to participants.

· Non-disposable pie plates must be picked up at the conclusion of the contest. When the contest is over.
